Third annual Athena International award

Lori Kelley Receives Third Annual Athena International Award

Sept. 29, 2008 - On September 23, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa, Partner at the accounting firm O'Sullivan Creel, LLP; became the 2008 Athena International Award Recipient. This award was presented by Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast; in conjunction with: the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Panama City Beaches Chamber of Commerce and the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Athena Award recipients are selected for their professional excellence, community service and leadership, and for actively and generously assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence. Athena Award winners are those who excel in their chosen fields; devote time and energy to the community in a meaningful way, and who open paths so that others may follow. Ms. Kelley was chosen out of a field of 15 nominees.


The Athena Award program was created in 1981 and seeks to achieve a representative balance of leadership by honoring individuals and companies who assist women in achieving their full leadership potential. The prestigious Athena Award program recognizes individuals and companies on local, state, national, and international levels. More than 5,000 areas, throughout the world, participate in the program each year. The Athena Foundation, which sponsors this award, is dedicated to opening doors of leadership opportunity for women in the workplace, and beyond, and to make women of achievement more visible.
